Our Core Values
Love God
Jesus said the greatest commandment was to "Love the Lord our God with all our heart." At Calvary, loving God is our highest calling, our greatest purpose, and our utmost goal.
Love People
Jesus said the second commandment, to love our neighbor as ourselves, was as important as loving God. Whether it is through joining a Connect Group, serving dinner at a homeless shelter, or grabbing coffee with friends on Sunday morning, we believe in and practice the power of community.
Grow In Faith
Our third core value is to grow our faith through learning the Bible. Romans 10:17 says faith comes through hearing the Word of God. By prioritizing the teaching of Scripture, we strengthen our faith and develop a strong, Bible-based community of believers.
Change the World
Jesus not only gave us a Great Commandment, He also gave us a Great Commission: to go into all the world sharing the gospel. As individual believers, we change our world by sharing the gospel and serving our community. Our philosophy is that every member is a minister and that every act of service done in the name of Jesus can change our world.
